visual acuity 6/500

Even though it doesn't seam must as most people look at me like: "Only!!!! So many surgeries for that!!!"
But what most of them don't realise is that it has made all the difference in the world.
I've seen blind people, and my daughter, even legally blind, is not blind. She's a visual person. She relies on her (poor) vision on her daily bases. She crawls around the house, goes under the table and chairs and never hits her head. She is simply amazing.

If she is like this with (almost) 5% imagine with 10 :)

Us

Since that photo I've lost 3 kg :) (still some to go)

Soccer practice in Hyde Park

Find the differences

:)

The first one with 10 months and 5,5 kg
The second one with 12 months and 9 kg
She almost reached 10 kg, but after taking the nasogastric tube she lost some weight.

The days after

I think we're back... :)

I still feel said and cry when I think in what we've lost. But most days I'm happy. I really believe we're all meant to be happy, so I try really hard to be so. And if my child is happy I think and don't have the right not to be.
I'm already able to look to her eye and not cry immediately, but it still hurts.
Today I feel luck for what we have, in this trouble times, but I'll always think I should have done something different.

But now I want to keep living as happy as I can because life is beautiful and I have a really great family.
